Jeremiah's Story:
An Omaha native, Jeremiah has graduated from Grace University, with a major in broadcasting. His interest in radio began during his senior year of high school when he made a concert commercial on his computer just for fun. Jeremiah decided to send it to Heath Kramer, who used to do a Christian rock show in the area...and Heath ended up using it on his show! Heath also e-mailed KGBI and Jeremiah was soon invited to the station as a job shadow. Within a few weeks, he was hosting the Saturday morning shift. Jeremiah has enjoyed seeing the impact of Christian music on people's lives, as well as in his own life. He loves being a part of "getting great music out there." What's better than being paid to play music and interact with great listeners? He says, "It's a lot of fun knowing that you're a part of someone's day, hopefully giving them a smile and encouragement." He is also a Husker football fan, likes watching sports, movies, eating food (especially pizza and hot wings), singing, and hanging out with friends. His favorite KGBI artists include TobyMac, Jeremy Camp, Third Day, Needtobreathe, and Switchfoot. He also likes the alternative Christian groups Lifehouse, Relient K, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Anberlin.
