Hi there!  I’m Shari Stone.  I was born and raised here in Omaha a LONG LONG time ago!  I attended Central Community College (Columbus, NE) and received my Associates Degree then transferred to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo to pursue a career in radio.  What was I THINKING?!!!

I graduated from NWMSU with a degree in Communications and got my first full time radio gig at WOW AM/FM where Ken Brooks was my boss!  He actually gave me my first full time radio job!!  Thank God for Ken!  My parents thank him every day for believing in me.  I worked for WOW AM/FM for 4 years then went on to work for 101.9, The Fox.  I just started at KGBI back in February of 2012 and once again, Ken Brooks let me be a part of the amazing staff here at KGBI.  I am so blessed.

My family and I attend regularly at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, NE where I sing in the choir.  I have a wonderful husband, Dave.  We have been married since 2004 and I love him even more than before.  He’s a great husband and friend.  Dave and I have a beautiful daughter, Samantha, 6.  We live in Elkhorn, Ne and we have a little furry friend, Buddy who is an 12 yr old Shih-Tzu.
