Norm Roberts
About
Norm Roberts' radio career began at the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus station. The Fremont native is a veteran of several Omaha radio stations, in a variety of formats and positions, including: production director, DJ, music director, news anchor/director, traffic reporter and talk show producer. In addition to hosting "Sunday Morning Praise," Norm is the production director at Salem Radio-Omaha. Among his favorite Christian artists are Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Kutless, Relient K and Phillips, Craig & Dean.
In his spare time, Norm enjoys writing songs and playing guitar and bass in several classic country bands, plus an acoustic pop duo, which primarily entertains at local senior living facilities. He also plays bass in the worship group at his church. Before joining Salem Communications, he was heard nationally with Dial-Global Radio Networks. In 2002, Norm was inducted into the “Nebraska Radio Personalities Hall of Fame.” He and his wife, Renee, have two children, Lindsay and Zak.
