Mike has been involved in Omaha radio since 1982.  He was an announcer on KFAB in the evenings until 1993, when he moved into the engineering department.  Mike came to now-sister station 660 AM KCRO toward the end of 1998, joining Salem when the station was acquired along with KGBI in 2005, serving as Operations Manager and KCRO's "station break voice."  He hosts Sunday afternoon music on KGBI and reports traffic conditions weekday afternoons.

Mike came to know the Lord in 1990.  Coming to KCRO, and then KGBI was a fulfillment of a desire kindled at that time to be involved in Christian Radio.  He has been involved as a member and an elder at 3Rivers Church, now known as Changed Life Church.

Mike's favorite Bible verse is Lamentations 3:22b-23a:

"...His compassions fail not. They are new every morning;... "
